Why Feyre is no longer in "A Court of Silver Flames"?

In A Court of Silver Flames, the story's focus shifts to Nesta Archeron and her journey, as this is the book that Sarah J. Maas uses to explore further the character of Nesta, who is traumatized and complex. However, Feyre is not forgotten. She is still present in the story but is no longer the main character as in the previous books.

Feyre's role in A Court of Silver Flames:

Feyre has now taken on the role of High Lady of the Night Court, alongside Rhysand. In the story, we see her focusing on her responsibilities as the leader of Velaris and preparing for a new chapter in her life: becoming a mother. Feyre's relationship with Nesta is complicated, and A Court of Silver Flames also explores how they try to heal the trauma and conflict within their family.

Although Feyre is not the center of the book, her presence is still important. She serves as a support and source of motivation, especially when Nesta faces big choices in her journey.

Why is Feyre no longer the center?

Sarah J. Maas uses this book to tell the story of Nesta and Cassian, exploring new perspectives in the world of Prythian. Feyre has completed the main character arc of the previous books (A Court of Thorns and Roses, A Court of Mist and Fury, A Court of Wings and Ruin), and now the author wants to expand the world of ACOTAR through other characters.

However, fans who love Feyre will still feel her influence throughout the story, especially in the way she always wants Nesta to find herself, despite the tensions between the two sisters.

If you miss Feyre, don't worry! She's still an integral part of the ACOTAR world and will continue to appear in future stories. As for this book, enjoy the way it explores Nesta and the new perspectives!
